I was born and raised by the wild Pacific Ocean in California, and currently live by the sea on the North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand. I have always been inspired by my great love for the outdoors, in particular the vast and ever changing water, the snow capped mountains, and the rivers that tumble down them and connect us all.

I have been painting, drawing, doodling, and writing for my entire life- constantly driven by the desire to create. This drive has manifested itself into many things- from murals to pet portraits, tattoos to children’s books.

When I’m not in the ocean or have a paintbrush in hand, I am a school teacher in New Zealand.

I recently self published my first children’s book, M is for Mermaid, and am currently working hard on a second.
